1. Postdoc Fellows
1.1. We now have 1-2 postdoc positions in the research directions of electrosynthesis, electrocatalysis, or metal nanomaterials synthesis. 1.2. We are always looking for Postdoc Candidates for the application of RGC Postdoctoral Fellowship Scheme. The recipient of RGC Postdoctoral Fellowship Scheme will be provided a total stipend of HK$ 1215990 (i.e. HK$ 405330 x 3 years), as well as the conference and research-related travel allowance of HK$ 12880 per year. 2. Ph.D. Students
We are always seeking excellent graduate students with self-motivation and passion for research. Priorities will be given to prospective candidates with research background in nanomaterial synthesis, electrochemical catalysis, and energy conversion. We take 1-3 graduate students every year. (a) The application deadline for Postgraduate Admissions is normally on 1 December (at 12:00 noon, Hong Kong time) every year. (b) The minimum English Proficiency Requirement by the College of Science is as follows.
# TOEFL: a minimum score of 79; or
# IELTS: a minimum score of 6.5; or
# Duolingo English Test: a minimum score of 105.

(c) Outstanding PhD candidates will be recommended to apply for the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS) that provides a very attractive package. The recipient of HKPFS will obtain a stipend of HK$ 26600 per month, a conference and research related travel allowance of HK$ 13300 per year, as well as the “Chow Yei Ching School of Graduate Studies Entrance Scholarship” of HK$ 81096 provided by City University of Hong Kong. The HKPFS usually calls for application from 1 September, and the deadline for submission is on 1 December (at 12:00 noon, Hong Kong time) every year.
